Departure
Another example from the new Explorer painting series initiated during the pandemic. The works were created in response to the pandemic and produced for an online show. These works originally aimed to show the disconnect and alienation triggered by lockdown but are gradually turning into a celebration of human destiny, character and individuality.

This finished work will also serve as a study for a larger painting on 190 x 180 cms scale.
