Trios

The ‘Trio’ series seek to involve spectators actively in the viewing process. They are observed by moving around the work and cannot be seen completely from a fixed viewpoint.

 

The viewer is obliged to memorise the different viewpoints and complete the image in their mind’s eye. Trio works should be installed to allow a viewer to circle freely around them.

 

Narrative content is based on the contrast between the left and right aspects of the works, the central view providing an abstract overlay and synthesis of the two side panels.
