Threshold
This painting is from the Explorer painting series which began during covid lockdown. The works were created in response to the pandemic and produced for an online show. The original theme, the alienation and paranoia that defined that time is gradually developing into a wider and more positive appraisal of character, individuality and destiny as seen from a western perspective.
This finished work will also serve as a study for a larger painting on 190 x 180 cms scale.
