The Ladbroke Grove Bridge installation is based on Miles’s Trio artworks. The corrugated profile of the panels produces contrasting views and a kinetic effect when seen by passersby. The photo taken during Notting Hill Carnival shows the site-specific nature of the work which aimed to reflect the vibrant identity of the area.

Miles Watson’s artwork at Ladbroke Grove brightened up the underside of the bridge creating a distinctive and welcoming feature at one of the main access points to Portobello Market. The project was organised by Urban Eye with Light Projects and London Underground engineers Metronet. It was installed in Summer 2007.
